Your Mission
You will join the ARIANET team focused on evaluating the impact of energy and industrial plants, road traffic, and transportation infrastructures on local and urban environments. This will involve utilizing a range of 3D meteorological and air quality models.
Your responsibilities will include conducting impact assessments and scenario studies to support planning and permitting processes. You will gather and organize the necessary data, critically analyze the results, and prepare the final documentation.
Additionally, you will assist in the development and maintenance of cloud-native web applications and Python-based management tools. You will also be involved in configuring air quality simulation systems, either cloud-based or on-site at customer locations, providing both remote and in-person training and support.
Depending on your expertise and interests, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new features for ARIANET's models and systems, working in collaboration with national and international partners and updating relevant technical documentation.
Who We Are Looking For Your ProfileYou are the right candidate if you:
- You hold a master's degree in physics, engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field.
- Are highly motivated and eager to work in the environmental sector.
- Have basic knowledge of atmospheric physics and/or meteorology, gained through university courses or post-graduate experience.
- Possess strong proficiency in both spoken and written Italian.
