Career Opportunities: SW PRODUCT ENGINEER (10744)

To carry out SW development to ensure the technical and functional feasibility of the products, providing support to the project teams, with the objective of reaching the cost, quality and timing goals established by management.

• Along with the Master in Design, ensure the product's technical feasibility during the bid and development stages, in accordance with Ficosa Development System (FDS) methodology (SPICE).
• Analyze user requirements and create technical specifications and test plans.
• To research, design and implement embedded software modes from inception to release, following Ficosa's procedures.
• Investigate new technologies, test new programs and develop existing ones.
• Generate the required SW design delivery documents and maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects.
• Cooperate with manufacturing teams in product industrialization.
• Ensure that prototypes are developed and delivered per the plans defined with the client.
• Participate in product and process FMEA's.
• Review designs under the supervision of the Master in Design, and effectively manage product modifications at all stages.
• With the Quality Design Engineer , analyze the results of the product technical test reports, and find the necessary technical countermeasure solutions.
• Ensure optimum use of standardized solutions in all product development processes for all business unit clients.
• Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OSHE and Quality department.

Academic background: Academic background mainly in Computer Science, telecommunications or electronics

Languages: Fluent local languages & Fluent English (written and spoken)

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar position

Travel: Willing to travel

SW Tool (Ficosa Design Handbook, C Code Style Doors, State Machines, Automotive SW Development according to SPICE, JIRA, etc), R & D Tools (FDS, problem solving, FMEA, etc)
