Job Description
We are seeking a versatile and passionate Analog Electrical Validation/Application Engineer to work for PSG group. The scope includes System/Electrical validation and customer enablement for High speed Analog IPs, DDR memory interfaces, in a way that is customer focused, innovative, efficient and drives highest quality standards. It requires both pre and post Si engagement and close collaborations within and outside the team to ensure design and test content robustness, ultimately delivering highest quality products to customers.
Responsibilities- Post‑Silicon system/electrical validation and customer support of High Analog IPs.
- Silicon debug to identify electrical, functional related bugs and silicon characterization to validate IP.
- Ability to use methodological approaches to solve highly complex problems.
- Generate and deliver written and verbal reports on highly technical engineering content.
- Develop and deliver training of methodologies and tools.
- Publish technical collateral for customer design and analysis.
- Debug failures with cross‑functional teams and assist customer system bring up (e.g., Silicon Validation, SI/EV, Boards, Software).
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills including working as a member of the EV team.
- The candidate should possess a Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering with more than 6 years of experience in post‑silicon validation.
- Experience with Analog IPs like PLL, DLL, IOs, Oscillators etc.
- Understanding of high Analog IP design is desired.
- Experience in hands‑on work in a hardware lab with test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Clock generators, Source meter/Multimeters, Thermal equipment etc.), computer systems, and test stations is an added plus.
- Prior scripting experience/skill and/or well experience in programming (Python, C or C++).
- Solid hands‑on experiences in debug and root‑cause of electrical/analog and signal integrity issues.
- Good interpersonal and problem‑solving skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong team player who is self‑motivated to proactively initiate works requiring minimum supervision.
