Electronics Engineer
At Max Well Biosystems, we innovate the future of electrophysiology by developing cutting‑edge technologies for neural activity recording. Max Well produces electromechanical readout systems and semiconductor based consumables products.
We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our interdisciplinary team. You are responsible for optimizing internal and external production processes and improve assembly line of Max Well’s products. You know to implement and modify production relevant documents such as work instructions, production tracking, quality checks sheets and you skilfully use these tools to enhance the overall yield and production output.
YourMission
- Evaluation and development of production processes.
- Optimize and validate production, drive yield improvements, determine root cause in case of quality issues and develop and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize structured problem‑solving techniques for example design of experiments (DoE), PFMEA and root cause analysis.
- Organize and schedule production, produce according to the forecast or min/max stock.
- Train operators and supervise operators’ work (first contact person for operators) for 2‑3 operators.
- Responsible for quality assurance of internal and external production steps and incoming parts and final products.
- Improve quality testing procedures of products.
- Work in close cooperation with our RnD team to continuously improve processes, procedures, work instructions, systems, and workflows and on new products (transfer of products to production).
- Degree in engineering (Master or Fachhochschule), preferably with specialization in process, microtechnology or mechanical engineering.
- Ideal 3 or more years experience in process development, semiconductor (MEMS) industry or system assembly area.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills familiar with PFMEA, 8D, CAPA etc.
- Preferred working experience in cleanroom environment.
- Knowledge in python programming, JIRA are a plus.
- Must be well organized, flexible, autonomous, hands‑on.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
