As a Standard Operating Procedure Manufacturing Engineer
, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and compliant documentation that supports our manufacturing processes and ensures consistency across operations.
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance within manufacturing operations
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance to capture best practices and translate them into clear, actionable procedures
- Ensure all SOPs comply with aerospace and Rolls‑Royce standards, and align with relevant Quality Instructions (QIs) and technical drawings
- Facilitate training and implementation of SOPs on the shop floor, ensuring understanding and adherence
- Work to project timelines for SOP development and delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to keep documentation current with evolving technologies, regulations, and operational practices
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to write and structure technical documents clearly and accurately
- Experience and understanding of working in an Engineering environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- A proactive approach to improvement activities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and foster positive relationships
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as required

Full time: 07:30 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday and 07:30 – 12:30 Friday
