Technical Project Manager, Automation, NA

Vantage is looking for an experienced and detailed orientated Technical Project Manager to support and facilitate the successful completion of projects for the Automation Systems group. Individual will be a catalyst in facilitating multi-functional alignment with key project partners for regionally assigned new and existing automation projects. As a key contributor the position will manage and provide technical leadership regarding automation design, engineering, and construction interfacing.

The ability to influence and develop consensus across teams at a regional level is critical to be successful in this role. A high-level understanding of system integration, project management, commissioning, and process execution is required to provide informative project issue mitigation when challenges arise. Support Sales, Design Engineering, and Services to develop project requirements based on market demands or customer requirements.

Balance multiple automation technical project scopes, schedules, and stakeholder relations across the regions. Lead automation technical responsibilities with the Engineer of Record and Design Systems Integrators. Duties Support and coordinate automation design and engineering requirements with internal and external partners.

Job Requirements 10+ years of experience in Building Management System (BMS) design, integration, commissioning, or technical leadership. BS in related Engineering or Construction Management fields preferred but not required based upon experience level. PLC / SCADA Application Engineering experience preferred.

Experience with Allen-Bradley and Ignition experience preferred. Data Center or Mission Critical project experience preferred but not required. Experience in instrumentation and controls (I&C) preferred. Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office, and MS Share Point
