Hard Rock Hotel Malta is looking for a Senior Spa Therapist to join our team, deliver advanced treatments and inspire junior therapists while elevating the spa experience for every guest.

As a Senior Spa Therapist, you’ll provide expert spa treatments, support team development, and ensure every guest receives a personalized, top-tier experience. You’ll also contribute to retail and treatment revenue while maintaining the highest standards of service and hygiene.

• Perform a wide variety of advanced spa treatments, including massage, facials, body therapies, manicures, pedicures, hair removal and specialized treatments
• Deliver personalized service and build strong guest relationships to encourage repeat visits
• Mentor and support junior therapists through coaching, on-the-job training and feedback
• Maintain expert knowledge of all spa treatments, services and retail products
• Promote and upsell retail products, tailoring recommendations to guests’ needs
• Conduct consultations and follow-up care to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness
• Support the Spa Manager in driving revenue, meeting upsell and retail targets and monitoring treatment quality
• Assist in developing treatment protocols and suggesting improvements to enhance guest experiences
• Maintain accurate treatment records and contribute to guest history databases for personalized service
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards per hotel and industry guidelines
• Handle guest concerns professionally and elevate when necessary
• Act as a brand ambassador, consistently delivering the Hard Rock signature service

• 4+ years’ experience as a Spa Therapist, preferably in a luxury or lifestyle hotel spa
• Recognized qualifications in massage, facial and body treatments (CIBTAC, CIDESCO, ITEC or equivalent)
• Proven track record in achieving retail and treatment upsell targets
• Training or mentoring experience preferred
• Advanced technical ability across multiple treatment modalities
• Strong guest service focus with the ability to personalize treatments
• Excellent communication, listening and product recommendation skills
• Ability to motivate and guide junior staff
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English; additional languages preferred
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
