Chief Medical Officer

Usono is a Med Tech company revolutionising musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound through dynamic imaging solutions. Our main product, Probe Fix Dynamic, is used by doctors of elite sports organizations such as Villarreal CF, AS Roma and research institutions such as MIT. Thanks to our hardware, they unlock new insights in the body in movement, for prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation. We are now looking for a Chief Medical Officer to lead our clinical vision and strategy, both for commercial as well as R&D purposes.

As our Chief Medical Officer, you will be the driving force behind Usono’s success in the next phase of its development. You’ll shape the future of dynamic ultrasound by:

• Joining the management team and defining a medical vision and strategy.
• Leading clinical validation and protocol development for Probe Fix Dynamic and future software innovation in collaboration with our CTO.
• Building and leading our medical/scientific team.
• Bridging science and business by collaborating with commercial, product, and regulatory teams.
• Representing Usono in key customer meetings, scientific conferences and in major collaborations (with well-known ultrasound OEMs and key accounts)
• Developing the company’s medical strategy, clinical studies and other relevant activities in our Quality Management System (QMS).

We’re looking for a medical expert with a scientific and entrepreneurial mindset. We emphasize the following qualities:

• Hands‑on experience in MSK ultrasound in relevant settings (sports medicine, physiotherapy)
• Preferably a doctor, or physiotherapist or related with relevant specialisation or scientific background.
• Strategic value through a relevant professional network and ability to represent Usono externally.
• Experience with regulatory processes and scientific research and publications.
• Excellent team and culture fit, with leadership and mentoring capabilities.

• A strategic leadership role in a fast‑growing internationally operating Med Tech company.
• Flexible part‑time and hybrid setup (16‑24 hours a week).
