**** The Opportunity
** Hammond Care's Respite Cottages provide short-term accommodation and individualised support for older guests during stays of up to 10 nights. As a Specialised Carer, you'll play a vital role in delivering personalised care and creating a welcoming, home-like environment.
*** Hourly Rates:*** *$33.78 to $36.50- P/H + penalties + overnight allowance
*** Responsibilities
* * As a Casual Specialised Carer at our Respite cottage, you will:
* Provide personal care including grooming and hygiene
* Deliver care in accordance with individual care plans
* Support and care for guests during overnight or extended stays
* Promote guest dignity and independence through daily activities
* Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in care professionally
** What do
* you
* *** No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III Individual Support is an advantage
* First Aid certificate desirable
* Empathy and compassion are a must
* We provide job training as long as you have the willingness and desire to learn
* Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone
* A strong team player, who can communicate professionally changes in care, complete all documentation, whilst maintaining confidentiality.
