Job Title: HR Assistant

Company: Onsite Dealer Solutions

Location: Mission, KS (In Office)

Pay Range: $19 - $20 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule:
  • Full-Time: 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive HR Assistant to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR functions and will serve as a key resource to ensure smooth operations within the department. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to unemployment claims and process requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle wage garnishment documentation and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Complete employment verifications promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with recruiting tasks such as job postings, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
  • Conduct and track exit surveys for departing staff.
  • Support general HR projects and administrative functions as needed.
  • Provide backup support to the HR Manager and Onboarding.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and documentation (e.g., garnishments, unemployment, employment verifications).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with HR software is a plus.
