The Cybersecurity Engineer ensures the protection and integrity of the company's digital assets by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems. They actively identify and address vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and keep the organization aligned with current cybersecurity standards and trends. Their work safeguards the company from cyber threats, ensuring business continuity and data security.
Responsibilities- Design and implement the company's cybersecurity systems, including security policies and procedures, security systems, and security technologies.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure that security systems are properly configured and maintained (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies).
- Conduct security penetration tests and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop plans to address them.
- Participate in security incident response and conduct investigations through analyzing log files, identifying the cause of the incident, and developing a plan to prevent future incidents.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Innovation : develop security solutions tailored to Intelcia’s needsompany from cyber threats, ensuring business continuity and data security.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of cybersecurity standards and best practices, including ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with penetration testing methodologies, security auditing techniques, and incident response protocols.
- Expertise in designing and implementing security policies, procedures, and technologies tailored to organizational needs.
- Skilled in conducting thorough security penetration tests and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Competence in programming languages such as Python and Java, enabling the development of custom security solutions and automation scripts.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including experience as a cybersecurity engineer.
- Proactive and vigilant mindset, always anticipating potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
- Collaborative and communicative approach, working effectively with IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive security measures.
