** your task
** will be to work together with your colleague on steering the logistics process in the right direction for both inbound and outbound goods flows. You will also identify and implement potential improvements in terms of supply chain & planning. This in turn will help Mission Produce Europe achieve its overall growth targets:
Further expansion of the market share in Europe.

As a part of a compact supply chain planning team (2

FTE), you will keep a close watch on both the inbound and outbound goods flows. Your analytical insight and ability to switch between priorities will serve you well in this task. Thanks to your careful attention, no details will be missing in the administrative work. Should any challenges occur, you will be able to keep your cool and you will know how to find an effective solution.

** Inbound
* * Inbound deliveries can have different routings before they are sent to the customer: ripening, repackaging or storing. Together with the team, you will ensure that everything is processed in the system as efficiently as possible.

** Outbound
* * Once the ripened avocados meet the customer's requirements, they are sent on to transport. You and your team will arrange this transport down to the last detail and ensure that the quality team carries out a final check. Then you’ll watch with pride as another shipment of the very best quality avocados leaves our doorstep.
Besides the supply chain planning team, you will be in close contact with the sales department, sourcing department and the warehouse. This will allow you to properly evaluate stock levels to ensure that Mission Europe’s customers receive their deliveries on time and as requested
* Organizational skills: you are able to keep your cool and you know your priorities
* Working experience within supply chain planning, transport logistics & distribution. Preferably connected to fast moving items (FMCG), fresh/perishable goods (such as fruits, flowers and vegetables) or the biotech/medicines industry.
* Excellent command of English (speaking and writing), Dutch and/or Spanish is a big plus.
* Ability to work and think at a higher vocational education (bachelor/hbo) level, good analytical insight and communication skills
* Broad experience with ERP systems, MS Office and Excel in particular
