China – TAICANG – Operations

Accomplish the established production and quality goals for the assembly line assigned.

• Check attendance of operators.
• Train new operators.
• Assign operators based on their versatility.
• Attend pre-shift meeting and verify the conditions of the line from the previous shift.
• Ensure set-up approval of the line and respond to any problems with it.
• Collect and communicate to operators the daily production schedule.
• Ensure operators comply with safety policies.
• Work as operator if required due to absenteeism.
• Monitor production results every hour, resolving or reporting any issues detected.
• Ensure appropriate administration and use of materials.
• Train and coach operators, perform layered flash audits, update skills matrix (versatility matrix).
• Fill out production reports.
• Ensure proper status of the workplace and the end of the shift.
• Ensure production targets are met in quality and quantity.
• Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
• Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
• Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
• Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.
