The Process Engineer would be accountable for

• Enhancing local existing manufacturing capabilities, including the introduction of new technology, to develop expertise on processing, product quality and process control.
• Leading Operational Excellence by designing and implementing production processes, reducing inefficiency, recognizing patterns, collecting data, implementing methodologies and improving quality output.
• Ensuring all processes contribute to the final quality of the product and the efficiency of the production system.

• Owning process establishment, optimisation, execution and documentation – ensuring deep understanding of process engineering and manufacturing environments, analysing system performance and readjusting parameters for optimal performance, evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Optimising compounding & mixing/repack processes – establishing and optimising compounding processes in manufacturing to ensure smooth production and meet global product specifications and global efficiency targets; conducting trials and stabilisation of new commercial products on production lines; troubleshooting issues on compounding lines and guiding the production team across shifts.
• Operational Excellence – analysing KPI data (such as OEE, downtime, yield loss, others) and working closely with relevant functions (Production, Maintenance, etc.) to implement improvement actions; KPIs will be added/deleted based on business needs.
• Developing best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates, quality of output and product reliability.
• Documenting all created processes and updating and maintaining these documents as changes occur.
• Improving safety and contributing to plant safety initiatives.
• Working closely with the Production Manager/Manufacturing Head, Shift Leaders, and Operators to drive improvement; providing technical support and training to the production team; collaborating with the Quality department for customer claim investigations, non‑conforming generation investigation and closing assigned action items.
• Driving process improvement projects as per plant needs and achieving project deliverables.
• Driving assigned improvement projects as per plant needs and business needs and achieving project deliverables.
• Leading without authority – influencing and guiding others toward shared goals without formal power, emphasizing collaboration, expertise and personal credibility.
• Continuously developing and transferring manufacturing technology know‑how and expertise – transferring technology know‑how and expertise in all relevant fields and keeping them up to date.
• Keeping oneself abreast of latest industry developments and identifying developmental needs for self and team to enhance effectiveness.

• Diploma in Chemical/Polymer or
  
  B.Sc. with CIPET, with a minimum of 3 years work experience as a Process Engineer.
• Experience - 5 years
