Are you passionate about keeping your community safe, clean, and welcoming? The Town of Eagle is looking for a Buildings & Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our Public Works team. In this role, you’ll help care for our parks, buildings, and public spaces, making Eagle a place residents and visitors can enjoy year-round.

• Maintenance Technician I Requirements: $23.63 - $28.36/hr.0 months to 3 years of related experience preferred but will traintherightcandidate.
  
  Someentry-levelmaintenance,landscapingorconstructionexperienceishelpful.
• Maintenance Technician II Requirements: $26.84 - $32.21/hr.4-5 years journey-level experience in construction or maintenance or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Requires the ability to use computer applications and electronic mail.

• Maintain town buildings, parks, playgrounds, and landscaping (mowing, trimming, sprinkler systems, painting, and more).
• Keep public restrooms clean and functional, handling minor plumbing repairs.
• Operate equipment like loaders, bucket trucks, and snowplows (early morning shifts in winter).
• Assist with community events by setting up cones, barriers, lighting, and more.
• Pitch in with Streets, Water, and Wastewater crews when needed—great cross-training opportunities!

• Experience: up to 3 years of building maintenance or landscaping.
• Skills: Comfortable with hand tools, landscaping equipment, snowplows, and basic repairs.
• Traits: Team player, safety-focused, customer service oriented, and adaptable.
• Requirements:
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking and comprehending).
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons, lift 50 lbs. regularly, and occasionally heavier items.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings (3 a.m. snow shifts) and be “on‑call” when needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
