Position: PRODUCT/QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER VACANCY

As PA/QA Engineer, you will drive rigorous product assurance for an ESA astrophysics mission, while contributing to other advanced Satlantis developments.

Your mission

As a Product/Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the highest quality, safety, and reliability of optomechanical instruments for critical scientific missions. You will implement and maintain ESA-aligned PA processes, manage risks, and foster a strong quality culture across multidisciplinary teams.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining PA processes in line with ESA ECSS standards
  • Identifying and mitigating risks to product quality and reliability
  • Overseeing supplier and subcontractor quality compliance
  • Managing non-conformance reports, driving corrective and preventive actions
  • Preparing and maintaining quality documentation and reports
  • Representing PA in project reviews (NRB, IRR, TRR, PTR)
  • Leading internal audits and supporting ESA audits
What will set you up for success?
  • Experience in product or quality assurance for space systems
  • Familiarity with ESA ECSS requirements and quality standards
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail to guarantee mission-critical reliability
  • Strong teamwork and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to communicate clearly in an international, multidisciplinary environment
  • Fluency in English;
    Spanish at negotiation level is a plus
