OverviewThe Lead has a direct impact on brand standards execution and teammate experience. Working with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in‑store expert for their department, delivering top‑notch customer service while guiding teammates. Strong leadership by example, empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration defines the role.
Responsibilities- Support building and hiring a strong team through in‑store interviews and department tours.
- Build a people‑first culture by connecting with every teammate, fostering mutual trust, respect, and a positive store recognition culture.
- Plan, organize, and manage 30‑day timelines with the Assistant Store Manager, aligning workforce to execute daily assignments, game plans, projects, and store events.
- Leverage teammates to meet brand standards, execute programs and processes daily, and delegate tasks by priority.
- Uphold merchandising and presentation standards per floor set, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment guidelines.
- Assist store leadership with general supervision per company policies and procedures.
- Train teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding new staff and cross‑training existing staff.
- Lead by example to align teammates with the organization’s vision, goals, and the commitment to an exceptional shopping experience.
- Create an inclusive environment where all teammates and customers feel welcome, safe, and respected.
- Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Adopt an all‑hands‑on‑deck approach to support the team across the store.

- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior retail sales or customer‑focused experience preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15–35 lbs repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
- Comfortable working extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
- Capable of working at heights greater than 4 feet using a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours continuously).
