Maintenance Technician

Realizes with the team optimally functioning production and processing machines and (business) equipment, perform a range of electrical tasks, including wiring, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. Assists external parties when they perform work on our machines.

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components, including wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine wiring layouts and installation procedures.
• Test electrical systems and components for functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Replace or repair faulty electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all work activities.
• Performs both corrective and preventive maintenance work on production and processing machines and identifies, analyzes and remedies (or supports) malfunctions and malfunctions.
• Supports in the maintenance of buildings and installations.
• Advises production staff on the way of working with machines, so that the technical condition of the production machines can be kept optimal.
• Comes up with proposals for improvement regarding maintenance intervals and/or adjustments to the Team Leader Technical Services or Process Engineering.
• First point of contact and responsible for technical malfunctions of production machines within the factory.
• Documents work done and subsequent actions in the maintenance system.
• Is responsible for keeping the warehouse/TD up-to-date.
• Is the point of contact/coordinator in case of malfunctions, in the absence of the Technical Services Team Leader.
• Remains bound by compliance with regulations and procedures in the field of quality, health and safety, environment, safety and 5S.

• Journeyman electrician license or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrical technician or electrician, with knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, wire strippers, and conduit benders.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, lifting, and climbing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing electrical work.

High school diploma or equivalent education; completion of an apprenticeship program or technical training in electrical work.
