** Job opportunity
**** As a Financial Capability Case Worker in Orange NSW**– FFA, you will provide short-term, trauma informed case work to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship. You’ll co-develop clear case plans with clients, advocate on their behalf, connect them to the right local supports, and build practical financial literacy skills through 1:1 coaching (budgeting, identifying spending leaks, needs vs wants, and reading financial statements).

You’ll collaborate closely with other Anglicare programs and community partners to achieve the best outcomes.

* Co-develop holistic case plans with clearly defined goals, actionable steps and achievable outcomes.
* Assess complex cases (often involving multiple issues) and consult with Program/Regional Managers on higher risk matters.
* Advocate for clients and coordinate timely, accurate referrals through strong local networks.
* Deliver 1:1 financial capability coaching (budgeting, spending analysis, needs vs wants, financial statements).

* Qualifications:

** Diploma in social work/community services/customer service in a community setting (or working towards), or relevant experience with lesser formal qualifications.
* ** Experience**: 1–2 years supporting clients with complex needs, including those in distress or agitation; proven ability to prioritise multiple competing demands.
* *
* Skills:

** High computer literacy and database management; strong organisation and time management; excellent interpersonal and written communication; conflict resolution and problem solving; ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to change.
* ** Capability**:
Experience supporting people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and those impacted by domestic violence and mental health.
* ** Compliance:
** Current Working With Children Check and Police Check.
