Senior Full-Stack Engineer; Rails

As a Full Stack Developer at Demodesk, you will play a critical role in shaping our platform and enhancing our customers' experiences. You will work closely with our product, sales, and customer success teams to design and implement new features that directly impact our users. Your work will be central to driving product improvements and operational excellence as we scale our business.

  Design, implement, and refine core features across our technology stack to elevate our platform.

  Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences and align on project objectives.

  Participate in code and concept reviews, engage in occasional pair programming, and uphold high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability.

  Identify opportunities for technical improvements, optimize workflows, and scale our systems to meet the demands of a growing user base.

Core Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend development and JavaScript frameworks.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails. If this isn't given we expect very high proficiency in similar backend frameworks (eg. Django, Laravel), and high proficiency in Vue.js, for at least the last 3 years. Being excited to learn and spend most of your time with Rails is a must, naturally.
• Experience with database performance optimization (Postgres) and basic web application security
• Proven ability to design scalable, efficient solutions using modern web technologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English.
