Global Tek BPO Inc. is an in‑house BPO company who helps the underserved and at‑risk disabled population in their quest to receive all the disability benefits they medically, legally, and ethically qualify for from both government and private entities. We develop medical evidence that helps our clients navigate the complex disability benefits journey to improve their life trajectory. Global Tek supports our US clients at Trajector, which was founded in 2014 with a handful of employees.

In the last 10 years, the company has grown to over 1,800 employees and we continue to expand rapidly. Our mission is to improve the lives of Veterans by providing expert medical consulting services to optimize their disability benefits. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Trainer who thrives in building innovative software solutions while shaping and mentoring the next generation of developers. This unique role combines hands‑on technical leadership with a strong focus on training, coaching, and guiding interns and future engineers.

As a senior member of our team, you will design and deliver scalable systems across AI‑powered tools, greenfield initiatives, and internal R&D projects, while also leading technical bootcamps, monitoring progress, and influencing the career growth of junior engineers.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coding, problem‑solving, and architectural thinking, and equally motivated by knowledge‑sharing, teaching, and cultivating strong engineering culture.

Development & Projects
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software solutions for various initiatives.

• Take ownership of architectural decisions, technical strategy, and best practices.

• Drive the implementation of AI‑powered tools, greenfield projects, and internal R&D efforts.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.

• Ensure high code quality, security, and adherence to engineering standards.

Training & Mentorship
• Lead bootcamps, workshops, and technical training sessions for interns and junior engineers.

• Provide structured mentorship through code reviews, pair programming, and career coaching.

• Develop and continuously refine learning materials, coding exercises, and project­-based modules.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence.

• Identify skill gaps and proactively design training interventions to bridge them.

Leadership & Growth
• 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience, with increasing leadership responsibilities.

• Proven experience leading projects, mentoring engineers, or training technical talent.

• Deep proficiency in JavaScript and Type Script (required); experience with additional languages such as C/C++, Rust, Python, or Java is a strong plus.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design.

• Solid experience with relational databases (RDBMS) and No

SQL databases such as Mongo

DB.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.

• Demonstrated passion for both engineering excellence and talent development.

• Amenable to work in a hybrid setup in One Ayala, Makati City, Metro Manila
.

• 1–3 years of hands‑on software development experience.

• Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience is a big plus.

• Deep proficiency in JavaScript and Type Script (required); experience with additional languages such as C/C++, Rust, Python or Java is a plus.

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.

• Experience working with relational databases (RDBMS) and No

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.

• Passion for learning and teaching in a collaborative team environment.

• Experience with modern frameworks and libraries (React, Next.js, Node.js, SST, Tailwind, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML‑powered applications and Agentic AI workflows
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of Amazon Bedrock, Strands and Fine‑tuning is a plus.
• Prior experience mentoring interns or junior engineers.
