* Spanish speaking preferred but not required## Practice Overview Seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist to join a well-established, single-specialty ophthalmology group in South Texas:
* Join a current team of 2 MDs, 2 optometrists, and highly skilled technicians
* Comprehensive ophthalmic care including cataracts, retina, diabetes eye care, and glaucoma
* iLASIK for myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism — using advanced computer-guided technology
* Only recommends eye surgery and procedures to patients who meet qualification criteria
* State-of-the-art office and iLASIK surgery suite with the latest diagnostic equipment
* Active patient census with a motivated, professional, and pleasant work environment
* Electronic Medical Records## Compensation & Benefits
* Base salary: $300,000 plus productivity-based incentive compensation
* Relocation reimbursement:
Up to $12,000
* 1 week CME time plus $2,000 CME reimbursement
* Paid holidays, vacation, and 1 week paid sick leave
* Health insurance — eligible 60 days after first of the month following hire date

Required Qualifications
* MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
* Active Texas medical license — required
* Cataract surgery proficiency — required
* Spanish speaking — preferred but not required
