Purpose:
Empower parents to become active partners in the education of their children. Enhance parent/school communication, increasing opportunities for parents and guardians to participate as partners with the school in the academic and social growth of their children. Organize activities to increase parent involvement.
Qualifications:Education/Certification:
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Knowledge of campus instructional operations and school community demographics Ability to work with culturally diverse community of educators, students, parents, and community members Ability to present to parents, students, principals, and campus staff Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing Excellent event planning Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience in community-based outreach program
