NATECH is looking for experienced professionals with unique knowledge, expertise, and experience interested in a challenging work environment supporting the US Army Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) in a part-time on‑call (PTOC) temporary basis to assist with training Army units during a simulation driven combat exercise. NATECH is currently recruiting for part‑time on‑call (PTOC) staff to travel to Army Warfighter Exercises across the country and overseas.

Assignments typically last 2‑3 weeks in duration and employees will have opportunity to support up to 5 exercises each year. These positions require an active Secret clearance.

Work Station Controller
  • Serves as a Warfighting Function subject matter expert in a work cell with Army personnel.
  • Roles include Intelligence, Fires (Field Artillery), Air (high performance aircraft and rotary wing) and Sustainment
  • Enhances realism of exercise through role play, conflict adjudication and resolution.
  • Supervises the work cell mission
  • Trains and supports assigned work cell personnel
  • Supports the After‑Action Review (AAR) process
  • Maintains awareness and understanding of current and emerging Army & Joint doctrine and staff processes
OPFOR Role Player
  • Serves as Opposing Force Role Player. Serving primarily venworth.
  • Controls units assigned and inputs orders into simulation (WARSIM).
  • Performs actions to ensure a fluid and accurate simulation game is presented to exercise units.
  • Coordinates synchronizes, and de‑conflicts scenario storylines when necessary.
OPFOR Analyst
  • Collects and manages data pertaining to Opposing Force (OPFOR)
  • Controls Warfighting function (movement and maneuver, intelligence, fires, sustainment, mission command, and protection) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military Army training exercises
  • Works closely with OPFOR Commanders: collects computer generated data, analyzes data and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military counterparts.
  • Develops and produces graphic products for exercise unit After Action Reviews.
  • Maintains proficiency in the various simulations and models and AAR systems supporting Army training exercises.
  • Develops data collection plans keyed to exercise objectives; assessing WCOPFOR performance and providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Uses knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures to analyze OPFOR operations within a computer simulation.
  • Prepares analytical reports outlining such computer simulation outputs; deviations and consequences.
Requirements Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in US military service as a senior Non‑Commissioned Officer, Warrant, or Commissioned Officer.
  • Served in an Aviation, Fires, Intelligence or Sustainment role on a Brigade or higher level staff.
  • Familiar with current Army large scale combat operations, maneuver, Joint doctrine, command post and staff processes.
  • Possess, or be able to obtain, a DoD SECRET Clearance
  • Possess, or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport
  • Able to travel 5 to 7 times a year anywhere in the world for 14‑30 days
  • Able to support shifts that occur outside normal working hours to support 24/7 operations working at a minimum of 12 hour days.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize automated systems.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite of software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Intermediate Level Education (MEL
    4) or Sergeants Major Course graduate equivalent
  • Served in an Aviation, Fires, Intelligence or Sustainment role on a Division or higher level staff.
  • Experience in OIF, OEF, or OND in the field of Field Artillery, Aviation, Intelligence or Sustainment
  • Experience as an instructor or Observer Coach/Trainer with the Army or other DOD services.
  • Experience in conduct, planning, configuration, and design of large‑scale computer simulation Army or DoD exercises
