Overview
We are seeking a CT Technologist sometimes referred to as a Radiologic Technologist II (Rad Tech). As a CT Technologist you will specialize and be responsible for operating CT scanners and X-ray machines to produce cross-sectional images of patient’s internal organs and tissues. You will assist in diagnosing medical conditions and the treatment plan process, by producing high-quality images that help healthcare providers make informed decisions about our patient care.
This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed.

To perform duties in this position you must be CT certified and certified in one other modality.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- Manage more complex patient cases and provide specialized care to patients with unique medical needs or conditions, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop tailored imaging plans and treatment strategies.
- Operate ultrasound machines to produce real-time images of internal organs, tissues, and blood flow; select imaging techniques and settings to capture clear and accurate images based on the clinical indication or area of interest.
- Use a handheld transducer to transmit high-frequency sound waves, capture returning echoes to create images, and adjust imaging parameters to obtain multiple views and optimize image quality.
- Interpret ultrasound images in real-time to assess organs and tissues, identify abnormalities, and communicate findings to radiologists or referring physicians.
- May perform Doppler ultrasound studies to evaluate blood flow patterns and detect abnormalities such as vascular occlusions, stenosis, or thrombosis.
- Proficient in advanced imaging techniques and technologies, such as contrast-enhanced ultrasound or ultrasound-guided procedures (biopsies, aspirations, injections, thoracentesis, and paracentesis).
- Perform a wider range of ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, abdominal, cardiac, or musculoskeletal ultrasound.
