We are seeking a Operating Room Technician, sometimes referred to as a Surgical Technician, Surgical Tech, or Scrub Tech. An OR Tech will prepare, maintain, and assist in the operating room (OR) to ensure surgeries run smoothly and safely, including management of surgical instruments. You will be part of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to create a safe and efficient environment for surgery, helping surgeries proceed smoothly.

• P repare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, sterilizing equipment, and arranging necessary supplies such as surgical drapes, sponges, and gowns
• E nsure all equipment is functioning properly before the surgery begins, this may include surgical lights, suction machines, and monitoring devices
• A ssist with preparing and draping the surgical site on the patient to maintain a sterile field, helping prevent infections
• H and instruments, sponges, and other supplies to surgeons and nurses as needed throughout the procedure, know the functions of each tool, and anticipate what the surgeon may need next
• M onitor the sterile field and ensure it remains uncontaminated, if anything becomes unsterile, it is their responsibility to quickly replace it or inform the team
• C ount all instruments, sponges, and other materials before and after surgery
• R eset the operating room after surgery, ensure it is stocked and organized for the next procedure, following strict protocols for safety and hygiene
