Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit 1 Overview
We are seeking a Medical Surgical Telemetry RN (Med/Tele RN) to work in both the Med‑Surg and Telemetry departments. This dedicated nurse specializes in attending to patients within Med‑Surg units, especially those needing cardiac monitoring. The RN oversees safety, comfort, and overall well‑being of individuals needing cardiac surveillance during hospitalization.
Bonus Options: up to $10,000

Responsibilities- Assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of heart rates and rhythms.
- Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Provide hands‑on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional support.
- Full Time, Night shifts (12 hr).
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current (preferred).
- Previous acute‑care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
