Our client in Mississauga is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing collections, reconciling customer accounts, and addressing billing discrepancies, with a primary focus on large chain accounts. This position is perfect for a professional with strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Payment Processing & Collections:

Accurately process and apply customer payments in the system.

Manage collections and follow up on outstanding balances with large chain accounts, ensuring timely resolution.

Invoicing & Dispute Resolution:

Handle invoicing and customer communication through online portals, ensuring professional and effective interactions.

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.

Account Reconciliation:

Reconcile and clear deductions from customer accounts, ensuring accurate financial records.

Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve inconsistencies.

Customer Communication:

Serve as the point of contact for customers to address payment-related concerns and inquiries.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional, clear, and effective communication.

Record-Keeping & Accuracy:

Maintain accurate records of all transactions, reconciliations, and account activities.

Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all accounts receivable functions.
