Senior Accountant; Manufacturing

Senior Accountant (Manufacturing) – Mississauga, ON | Remote

Oversee all financial matters within the manufacturing facility and assist senior management with decisions and cost initiatives.

• Lead cost‑analysis processes and analyze monthly manufacturing cost variances in production and inventory.
• Advance profit improvement initiatives in collaboration with management and production teams.
• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Oversee preparation and review of capital expenditures.
• Oversee client billing and transactional processes.
• Oversee month‑end closes, year‑end audits, and annual operating budgets.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (required).
• CPA designation (CMA, CGA) preferred.
• 5‑10 years of senior accounting experience in manufacturing; 3‑5 years in print or packaging an asset.
• Experience with Great Plains and related accounting systems.
• Proficient computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, dependable, adaptable to change, team collaborator.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and conflict resolution skills.
• Business judgment, decision‑making, ingenuity, and creative problem‑solving skills.
• Project management skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
