This position requires an experienced candidate with a solid background in payroll and accounts payable, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. You will handle bi-weekly payroll for both US and Canadian employees while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Another focus is on managing vendor payments and optimizing AP processes effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately for all employees
• Ensure timely recording and coding of invoices
• Manage payments via EFT, cheques, and wire transfers
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience required
• At least 1 year in accounts payable administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with Dayforce/Ceridian preferred
