Property Accountant

Morguard seeks an Experienced Property Accountant to ensure financial accuracy for its diverse real estate portfolio. This role emphasizes timely reporting and requires at least two years of experience. In this key role, you will manage various accounting functions while overseeing transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing financial statements and conducting thorough bank reconciliations.

Additionally, you will support tenant account reconciliations to ensure prompt payments and help process year-end financial adjustments effectively.

• Oversee general accounting transactions accurately
• Prepare financial statements for internal and external use
• Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support timely tenant account reconciliation efforts
• Process year-end financial adjustments efficiently

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
• Minimum two years’ relevant property accounting experience
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Experience in the real estate sector is a plus
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
