Healthcare Intermediate Accountant - PCH

Become an Intermediate Accountant with Partners Community Health, specializing in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Work within a dynamic healthcare environment in Mississauga's new LTC homes.

This role involves supporting day-to-day finance activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. You will actively manage vendor invoices, issue billings, and assist in audits, thus playing a critical part in the organization’s financial integrity. Your hands-on approach will help in the reconciliation of accounts and the development of efficient accounting processes across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accurate processing of vendor invoices

• Monitor AR aging reports to follow up on payments

• Assist in internal and external audit preparations

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

• Collaborate with various departments for effective issue resolution

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Accounting or related field

• 3-5 years experience in accounting roles

• Skilled in MS Dynamics 365 or similar software

• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
