Senior Manager of Tax Recovery

Become a Senior Manager focused on Sales Tax Recovery r role will entail identifying tax savings opportunities and preparing comprehensive client reports to ensure compliance and recovery success.

Working independently or alongside other managers, you will engage with clients to assess their sales tax computations and identify areas for potential recovery. This role demands robust analytical skills and involves onsite engagements, requiring a thorough understanding of GST and PST legislation as well as proficiency in Ryan’s proprietary software.

• Identify sales tax issues and provide client guidance
• Conduct recovery engagements at client facilities
• Prepare detailed refund claims with supporting schedules
• Review accounting records for recovery opportunities
• Present comprehensive engagement results to clients

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA, CA, CMA, CGA designation preferred
• 4-6 years accounting or tax-related experience
• Solid understanding of GST and PST legislation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and research tools
