Accounts Payable & Payments Specialist

Banyan Capital is hiring an Accounts Payable & Payments Specialist in Mississauga. This role includes full-cycle accounts payable responsibilities, vendor management, and optimizing payment processes.

In this position, you will manage the accounts payable workflow and work with Sage Intacct for efficient processing. Your focus will be on ensuring timely payments, managing vendor relationships, and leading the corporate credit card program. Your contributions will support improved compliance and financial operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire accounts payable process diligently

• Create and maintain accurate vendor records in Sage Intacct

• Build a prioritized payments queue and optimize cash flow

• Administer corporate credit card and expense management functions

• Assist with financial reporting and internal controls

Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields

• 3-5 years of hands-on accounts payable experience

• Advanced Excel skills required for data management

• Experience with Sage Intacct appreciated

• Strong organizational abilities and communication skills
