Accountant Role in Manufacturing

As an Accountant, you will take ownership of core accounting and job costing in a project-based manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates are CPA designated or near completion, with over three years of progressive experience in cost accounting. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, managing project financial performance and providing insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close, including journal entries and account analysis

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Manage job costing in the ERP system with a focus on WIP

• Monitor costs, revenue, budgets, and project margins

• Prepare weekly financial reporting packages and support forecasts

Requirements:

• CPA designated or nearing completion

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Expertise in cost accounting within project-based environments

• Strong Excel skills for analyzing large data sets

• Proactive approach to advancing accounting skills
