Cost Controller

Be a key player in project financial management with Bird in Mississauga, Ontario as a Cost Controller. This role focuses on cost control, budget preparation, and diligent reporting while requiring site visits in Tiverton.

As a Cost Controller reporting to the Project Controls Lead, you'll drive the integrity of project budgets and forecasts. Your contributions will include updating cost estimates, providing cash flow analyses, and managing invoices efficiently. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring all project expenditures are tracked accurately throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate budget development in line with project standards

• Create cost estimates during project changes

• Monitor and update project cost estimates continuously

• Develop cash flow reports comparing actual versus planned

• Manage work orders and purchase orders for overheads

Requirements:

• 5+ years of cost control experience

• Certification from AACE or relevant education

• Experience with InEight software

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

• Strong analytical and communication skills
