Ammega is seeking a Senior Accountant to bolster financial accuracy across Canada. This hybrid role emphasizes leadership in financial reporting and process improvements.

In this position, you will ensure the completeness and integrity of financial records while supporting inventory and cost accounting initiatives. Your collaborative approach will facilitate communication across departments and enhance internal controls to guarantee compliance. This role requires a proactive mindset and strong analytical skills to tackle accounting challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate ledgers for reliable financial reporting

• Post month-end journal entries ensuring IFRS compliance

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies

• Support inventory and cost management activities

• Assist in audits and ensure internal control adherence

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting

• CPA or MBA preferred, ERP experience a plus

• Must be authorized to work in Canada
