Drive financial excellence at Valmont's Pure Metal Galvanizing as a Financial Accountant. Oversee compliance, support inventory management, and engage in month-end activities in Ontario's manufacturing sector.

As a Financial Accountant, you will liaise with key stakeholders while managing the reporting functions at our manufacturing facilities.

Your role encompasses cost accounting, journal entry posting, and general ledger maintenance. This position also includes collaboration with corporate teams and analyzing financial data for operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate month-end and year-end financial activities

• Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Generate monthly financial reports and supporting documents

• Supervise accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Monitor compliance with governmental remittances

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Expertise in general ledger and financial controls

• Advanced Excel skills and ERP knowledge

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
