Description
The Staff Accountant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities of the ISD-C division and providing critical financial and operational support to the AD Canada Warehouse. This position serves as a key accounting resource, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and accounting processes.
Leveraging the AD Way, this position ensures accurate and timely financial processes while providing exceptional service and responsiveness to internal and external customers.
Primary Responsibilities:Oversee and process A/R payments in Modular, ensuring timely and accurate applicationPost A/P invoices and reconcile differencesReview and process A/P invoices and investigate and resolve discrepanciesInvoice Members for duesPrepare vendor invoices related to trade shows, advertising allowances, and other applicable programsPost Payroll to ModularPrepare and review monthly journal entries and supporting documentationPrepare back up documentation for Bank TransfersPerforms other related responsibilities and special projects as needed to support business objectivesManage and order office suppliesRequirements
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across departmentsOrganizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesExperience with Modular or similar accounting softwareStrong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial controlsAble to produce financial reportsMicrosoft office - Excel (intermediate), Word (Basic), Outlook (intermediate)Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldMinimum 2-4 years of related corporate experience requiredAD is proud to be an equal employment opportunity employer.
