Position: Finance Senior Accountant (Maternity Cover)

In this role, you will report to the Controller, contributing to critical accounting functions such as financial reconciliation and analysis. Your main tasks include preparing monthly Financial Statements, managing variance analysis, and ensuring data accuracy. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reconciliations across departments

• Support month-end close with journal entry preparation

• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and prior results

• Prepare regulatory submissions for GST/HST and other taxes

• Implement effective accounting practices in compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• At least 5 years of accounting experience necessary

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

• Team-oriented, adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities

• Capable of thriving in a remote/hybrid work environment
