Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor for a long-term contract opportunity with a large, established organization in Costa Mesa. This position is fully onsite and will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations while supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and staff development.

• Supervise daily accounting activities and support accounting team members
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Partner with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
• Support internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Experience working in a large corporate environment preferred
• 2+ years of accounting supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Hands-on accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lead and mentor accounting staff
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience supporting high-volume accounting operations
