As the Assistant Controller, you will drive the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will lead a team while optimizing controls and accountability in financial documentation. A CPA certification is preferred, and experience in multi-location or manufacturing businesses is advantageous, particularly in enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own month-end financial closing and reporting
• Direct accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Guide and improve the accounting team's processes
• Develop and refine control documentation
• Ensure readiness for audits and financial compliance
Requirements:
• Preference for CPA certification
• Significant experience as an Assistant Controller
• Hands-on experience with ERP and Excel
• Background in distribution or inventory-heavy industries
• Must reside and work on-site in Mississauga/Brampton
