Drive finance for air, ocean, and cross-border trucking activities at BSI Canada, using Excel analysis to connect shipment costs with results.
This Finance Supervisor owns the Canadian entity's accounting cycle beyond bookkeeping. You will analyze job-level margins, detect rate leakage and billing errors, support pricing decisions, and prepare reporting for management. Daily coordination includes operations, overseas agents, and group finance in Shenzhen, requiring professional English and fluent Mandarin.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze shipment margins across air, ocean, and trucking
- Surface loss-making jobs, rate leakage, and billing errors
- Support quotations with cost and profitability analysis
- Maintain KPI dashboards for revenue, margins, DSO, and costs
- Monitor working capital, cash flow, and agent settlements
- Five-plus years progressive accounting experience with full-cycle ownership
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and XLOOKUP
- Ability to structure data for financial analysis
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- Freight forwarding, logistics, trucking, or 3PL experience preferred
