Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Accountivity’s client is seeking a Collections Associate for a temporary-to-permanent vacancy. The position focuses on daily collections, follow-up, customer dealings, short-payment investigations, contract balancing, and account reconciliation. Extensive phone and computer work supports timely records and effective communication.

• Follow up daily on problem receivables
• Communicate with customers, branch administrators, and managers
• Investigate short payments and balance contracts
• Reconcile accounts and complete assigned projects
• Perform data entry at sixty words per minute minimum

• At least three years of credit and collections experience
• Accounting principles knowledge
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Microsoft Office, Dynamics, Excel, and PC fluency
