Real Estate Project Accountant

The Project Accountant supports an established organization managing significant real estate holdings. This experienced accounting position connects construction financials with executive reporting through accurate allocations, job costing, and variance analysis. You will collaborate with development, budgeting, property management, and accounts payable teams.

• Govern construction financials across active projects
• Allocate costs to categories and general ledger codes
• Prepare quarterly job cost reporting packages
• Analyze actuals against budget for executives
• Identify and resolve project cost discrepancies

• Five-plus years of project-based accounting experience
• Large-project experience, preferably within GC or REIT environments
• Confidence communicating with senior construction project managers
• Required proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Procore or Yardi experience is advantageous
