Senior Accounting Vice President IFRS

Direct corporate accounting and IFRS compliance as Senior Accounting Vice President, working hybrid with three onsite days weekly in Mississauga. Oversee financial governance.
Reporting to the SVP, Controller, you will lead accounting functions supporting a diverse consumer financing portfolio. The position requires strong technical accounting expertise, audit coordination, tax knowledge, and control oversight. You will partner with senior leaders while maintaining accurate, timely records across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee corporate accounting and related operational functions
Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes
Maintain compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
Coordinate audits and address findings with stakeholders
Partner across finance and business functions on priorities
Requirements:
Ten-plus years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Significant leadership responsibility in accounting functions
Strong IFRS knowledge; US GAAP experience is an asset
Knowledge of Canadian income and indirect taxation
Background in external audits, controls, and governance
Use senior accounting leadership, IFRS knowledge, and audit expertise to protect financial integrity across a national organization.
