Financial reporting and account reconciliations anchor this Accountant opportunity at Echelon Insurance. Advanced Excel and SAP implementation experience are required.
As an Accountant, you will assist with accurate closing, financial statements, variance analysis, and reporting requirements. The work includes P&C1 statements, audit working papers, fixed asset schedules, prepaid schedules, and general accounting. SAP accounting module implementation support is also included.
Key Responsibilities:- Support timely and accurate monthly financial closing processes
- Analyze entity result variances for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare fixed asset, prepaid, and reconciliation schedules
- Assist with audits, notes, analysis, and reporting documents
- Support general ledger processes and automation testing
- Degree or diploma in accounting or business-related discipline
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Two or more years of similar experience preferred
- Experience implementing SAP and mapping business processes required
- Accuracy, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
