Own consolidated reporting and variance analysis as an Assistant Controller partnering with the CFO, Financial Analyst, and senior leadership.
This Assistant Controller role supports accurate financial statements under GAAP for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. You will prepare close schedules, explain results against budgets and prior periods, and help maintain compliance. The position includes Staff Accountant supervision and collaboration with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Support timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare close journals, reconciliations, schedules, and consolidated packages
- Partner with the Financial Analyst on variance explanations
- Collaborate with operations to maintain accurate financial data
- Support regulatory reporting, audits, and special projects
- CPA designation or near completion
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Four-plus years progressive accounting experience, including month-end close
- Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills
- Multi-site, cross-border, inventory-driven, or asset-heavy experience is an asset
