Senior Accountant SAP Implementation

Lead SAP accounting implementation and financial close activities as a Senior Accountant with Echelon Insurance across Canada. Apply advanced Excel skills and accounting expertise.

This Senior Accountant supports Echelon Insurance and the CAA Club Group of Companies. The position leads close processes, prepares financial analysis, and supports regulatory reporting. It also connects SAP functionality with business processes while guiding accountants and finance initiatives.

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, analyses, and variance explanations
• Coordinate internal and external audits with supporting documentation
• Lead SAP General Ledger, Payables, and Receivables implementation
• Drive process improvements and mentor accountants and team members

• Accounting or business-related university degree or college diploma
• Three or more years’ experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of SAP accounting modules is required
• Experience mapping business processes into SAP functionality
• Advanced Excel, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
