Build tax consulting experience with Ryan by researching savings opportunities and applying accounting skills alongside subject matter experts. This internship is team-based.
Ryan seeks interns interested in state, local, federal, and international taxation. You will support Fortune 500 and 1,000 clients while receiving training and development. The internship emphasizes client service, tax research, controversy support, and detailed calculations.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify tax savings opportunities for multi-state companies
- Prepare clients for auditor discussions, hearings, and appeals
- Research and draft technical tax memoranda
- Respond to client and tax authority inquiries
- Review documentation and complete detailed calculations
- Pursuing accounting, finance, real estate, or economics degree
- Graduating within one year of internship
- Minimum overall and major GPA of 2.8
- Six to twelve accounting hours, depending on practice
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge and valid driver's license
Develop state and local tax expertise through research, calculations, client service, and controversy support at Ryan.
